Delta has achieved a lot in the past, but we can do more.
The government should be held to the same standards as its citizens. Just as we manage our personal budgets, the City of Delta should do the same.
We should support those who seek assistance, which is why I advocate for help up, not handouts. Our resources should be directed toward individuals who are willing to work for their improvement, rather than those who do not desire help.
We should fully embrace the incredible resources at our disposal. Just as we established Ballonfest, we need to organize major monthly events to draw tourists and encourage them to support our local businesses.
My family is in Delta, my friends are in Delta, my church is in Delta,
my investments are in Delta… My home is Delta!
